Born to Kimberly and Jonanthan Biel in the year 1982, Jessica reached stardom when she was just seventeen.
Jessica got noticed for the first time on the WB television show 7th Heaven. Though her first discovery was attributed to an IMTA convention, people started figuring out only after her appearance on 7th heaven. She even tried teen printing but could not rise much above the shoddy standards of just as an attractive lass all set to seduce teen age boys. What got her popularity was the character of "Mary Camden" on 7th heaven which made her penetrate the US domestic television.
Jessica and complacency cannot be a paradox, to coexist. Simply working on the show was no longer interesting and she perpetrated to come out of the sheer bondage of the contract she signed with the producers of the television program. The next action fantasy flick "Blade: Trinity" proved to provide a little respite to her diminishing career in the Hollywood.
It was "The Illusionist" that got her noticed into the Hollywood circle and director Lee Tamahori signed her for the role of a romantic lead in his thriller "Next". Followed by a spate of ill-fated or rarely noticeable action-thriller flicks Jessica changed gears to try her hand at romantic comedies. Her portrayal as the attorney whom Adam Sandler falls for in "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" gave a boost to her career and provided her the anchor that she was desperately hunting for till now through various routes.
